Nagpur. 15 March 2024. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari Chief of the Air Staff addressed field commanders of Maintenance Command at Commanders’ Conference held at Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur on his 2 days visit to HQ MC on 14 & 15 Mar 24. He was received by Air Marshal Vibhas Pande, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command.
CAS, in his address, appreciated the vital role being played by HQ MC and its Units towards sustenance of various fleets and systems. During the visit, the CAS was apprised of the efforts initiated towards achieving self- reliance in the assigned tasks, thereby reducing dependence on the foreign OEMs. He was also briefed on efforts undertaken on issues pertaining to obsolescence, life enhancements and reliability.
The CAS also appreciated the efforts of Maintenance Command and in its contribution towards Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan and Capability Enhancement. He stressed on active participation of all personnel in the transformative changes that have been initiated towards nation building. The Commanders’ Conference was attended by all field commanders of maintenance command unit which are spread all across the country
CAS also awarded trophies to Units which were adjudged best in their respective fields of activities.
