Bangalore. 16 February 2025. Aero India 2025 served as a venue for India to strengthen global defense partnerships through strategic discussions and displays of military capabilities. The Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) conducted numerous bilateral meetings with foreign military leaders and defense industry representatives. The focus was on defense procurement, technology transfer, and establishing defense production facilities under the “Make in India” initiative. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) also used the event to showcase its indigenous platforms, aerospace innovations, and state-of-the-art avionics systems. HAL promoted self-reliance through displays of scaled models, engines, and signed agreements for future projects.
