Moscow. 20 August 2022. The second stage of the rescue unit competition was held at Mieu Mon National Military Training Centre No. 4 training ground. The Russian servicemen ran Relay stage in the second pair with Mali team.
Competitors from six countries overcame elements of fire-assault course: ditch of water, rubble blockage – wearing gas masks to penetrate the window opening of a collapsed building.
The Russian competitors were faster than the Mali team in their pair. It is now up to the referees to compare the times of all six teams and deduct the seconds for shooting faults and passing offences to find out the winner of the stage.
Emergency Area Competition is held as part of International Army Games 2022 in Vietnam from 15 to 19 August. Teams from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Republic of Mali, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Republic of the Congo are taking part.
