TORONTO, ONTARIO. 09 February 2017. Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced that Hawaii Island Air, Inc. (Island Air) Smarts Parts signed a five year agreement with Bombardier to provide support to longer-term components for its fleet of Q400 growing. Island Air currently operates new Q400 leased from Elix Aviation Capital Limited (Elix) of Ireland.
The Smart Parts program ensures Island Air full-service maintenance, repair and overhaul of components, access to a parts exchange pool located in a strategic location and inventory on site in Honolulu hub airline .
